Fed: WA man to be extradited from Victoria
MELBOURNE, Aug 12 AAP - A West Australian man will be extradited to his home statefrom Melbourne charged with the murder of a Perth woman whose remains were found in abush grave on August 4.
Dennis Ian Bell, 24, was arrested early Friday morning in the inner Melbourne suburbof South Yarra and charged with the murder of Jennifer Wilby, a massage parlour workerwho disappeared in May 1999.
Her skeletal remains were found by bushwalkers at Karragullen, 40km south-east of Perth.
During a brief hearing in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today, Magistrate John Bolsterordered Bell be returned to Perth to face the murder count.
He is expected to leave by plane tomorrow morning to appear in a Perth court on Wednesday.
