WA: Bidding wars enliven packed One.Tel equipment auction
Fierce bidding wars erupted today as 3,000 people vied for bargains at a Perth auction
of the goods of failed telecommunications company One.Tel.
Hundreds of mobile phones, computers and office furniture went under the hammer as
Ross' auctioneers and valuers sold off the failed company's unwanted goods.
Ross' spokesman HAROLD DODD says the size of the crowd and the day's takings of several
hundred thousand dollars exceeded expectations.
