A friend and colleague of a police officer hit and killed by a stolen car in Sydney's
south-west has described the death as a tragic waste.
Sergeant DAVID GILES, officer in charge of the Campbelltown Highway Patrol Unit, says
Senior Constable JIM AFFLECK was his most professional and experienced officer.
The 43-year-old officer was run over while laying road spikes on the Hume Highway near
