NSW: Shot policeman dies in hospital=2
Senior Constable McEnallay, 26, had been in a coma since being shot in his unmarkedhighway patrol car last Wednesday at Hillsdale, in Sydney's east.
He had been shot once in the head and twice in the chest after he followed a stolencar through Hillsdale.
Snr Const McEnallay's family had been at his bedside in Sydney's Prince of Wales Hospitalsince the incident.
Three men - Montekiai Taufahema, 25, John Taufahema, 24, and 23-year-old Sione Penisini- last week faced court over the shooting.
