Tas: Plane forced to make emergency landing in Launceston
HOBART, Dec 27 AAP - Two men and a dog escaped uninjured today when their light aircraft
made an emergency landing in northern Tasmania.
The aircraft had electrical problems and landed at Launceston Airport at 3.15pm (AEDT),
a Tasmania Police spokesman said.
"Luckily, they have got down safely and without trauma," he said.
The main runway at the airport was expected to remain closed until later this afternoon,
the spokesman said.
